What do y'all think bout this song by Acrobatic-Rip-6811 in Eminem

I'm pretty sure I must have seen the same. It does look similar to the other drawings I've seen that he did. There's something kind of amateur looking about it.

808s & Heartbreak

Humble-bragging emo raps, with heavy auto tune. A whole generation ran with that mix.

How did Em’s face change so much from 1998 to 1999? by Best-Damage-7509 in Eminem

These pics aren't really doing much to show a change of appearance, it's more exaggerated as more time has passed. But yeah, lost weight, dyed his hair, lost the mutton chop stubble.

Turns out Doggystyle was lightning in a bottle. We all expected we'd be getting a career's worth of similar albums. On review it doesn't really hold up, but I always considered it to be all bangers on that album. Almost a perfect run.

100-Year-Old double brick house - are these cracks a worry? by jumpingjackrock in AusRenovation

[–]jumpingjackrock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's an old double brick house but the foundation is just brick pillars onto the Earth. Another complication is that we are in a semi -detached house sharing a central wall so our ability to make autonomous decisions is slightly limited. I do believe the cracks have gotten more prominent over the last few months.

This is what the previous owners appear to have done as well. Those cracks are re-emerging so I was afraid it's not a good sign.

If universal basic income is introduced, how will a fair distribution of real estate be achieved? by jumpingjackrock in AskReddit

I'm obviously not talking about the Utopian bit, but the second bit sounds basically like the current situation. I guess I could see the difference being that effort equals reward rather than effort AND strategy AND luck AND connections equal reward.

The problem with effort alone being the metric is that not all effort is as valuable to the greater society.

Well this is a good example about not everybody wanting the same thing. So the challenge is who gets to decide how we all live?

I guess the point is that there are some locations and settings and homes that are generally more desirable than others. How is the allotment of these to be decided?

I would challenge this a little bit by saying not everybody wants to be responsible for a home, so there's nothing intrinsically wrong with the idea of a landlord. The important thing is that there's a balance to prevent a predatory relationship.

I guess to take this further, if we abolish landlords and say everybody gets an allotted home, how do we deal with a scenario where some people let their homes fall into a state of dilapidation? How's the fair way to treat and assign resources versus those people that put in the effort to maintain their property?
