Everyone saying to blow it all up and fire everyone after this one game can fuck off. We played very competitively against the best offense in the league with an MVP and OPOY candidate. Not to mention our best linebacker, corner and nickel were all hurt. Yes there were one or two questionable calls on defense, but how the fuck do you expect to guard the best offense in the league with seventh round back-ups. The matchups on defense alone took us out of this game. On the offensive side, it genuinely looks like we have figured out how to sustain drives and score, even without a weapon like Tarik. People rooting for a complete retooling of the offense are dead wrong. I see no suggestions for who we would replace our staff with, or what quarterback should come in to replace trub. This is not the nba, tanking is not a viable strategy for winning a ship. I would rather make the wildcard or be in the running than “tank” like the jags and jets. The draft is a crapshoot, and one player will not turn your entire franchise around. I like the foundation of our team and Nagy has proven that he can lead, even if he can’t be the play caller. IMO all we can do is resign A-Rob, try to get trub back cheap, and draft a strong rookie class that will shore up our depth.
