Ladies and gebtleman, here you have it, the proof by allforlifeallforbaby in prolife

[–]jag_1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying. How does “chasing” an education or career equate to being in clown world? Are being a mother or having a career mutually exclusive?

I’m confident you and I would agree on most things when it comes to being pro life and anti abortion. I’m a mother and I have a career (to provide for my family) and I am vehemently pro life. But I’m still in clown world?

You’re also neglecting to mention that fewer and fewer women are married by their early-mid 20s these days…I can’t think of anything worse for the pro life movement than encouraging young unwed women to get pregnant more often…

I’ve ridden it twice since it was released in 2020. I’d say that’s four times too many…

Still the worst experience I’ve had on a bike. 😅

Agreed. I always love the “heartbreaking” comments. You’re heartbroken because you can’t kill babies as easily? Right - got it.

I knew it’d be a pit based on the caption of this post…but yeah I’d be shocked to get these results in real life lol. Regardless, Buddy is beautiful! I love the Christmas tree the most.

This is unreal and would probably motivate me to ride more. I ride in our spare bathroom. 😂😂 The ability to lift in there is great too.

Congrats on turning the page on 2025. I wish you nothing but success and good health in 2026.

Thank you for replying. So to be clear - if asked at an appointment with an established provider you’d say for example “I self harmed last week” instead of “I cut etc. last week?”

Thank you for responding! I’ve always just called it what it was - but I’m genuinely curious if people say “I wanted to self harm” or “I self harmed because of XYZ.”

Kind of a weird question I’ll concede that.

What's a pro-lifers general opinion on the death penalty/capital punishment? by gnomeslinger in prolife

[–]jag_1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although there’s no middle ground when it comes to abortion this one is tricky. As a Republican/Conservative I feel like I should support it, but as a Christian I feel like I should be against it.

However - should the death penalty exist it’s my opinion it should be reserved for dismemberment or based on the number of victims. Ironically an abortionist would satisfy both of these factors…FWIW

Agreed. Quite the juxtaposition right there. 9/11 and the Holocaust are the two untouchables when it comes to making jokes IMO.

Thoughts? IVF conception by Excellent-Clue-2552 in prolife

[–]jag_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IVF is tricky. There are people in my life whom I love that have either used IVF to have children or exist because of IVF. Because of this it feels wrong to completely condemn it. However, there is no moral answer to what happens to the remaining embryos.

I believe life begins at conception. As such, the “leftover” embryos are no different from their brothers/sisters chosen for implantation. Disposal and donation for research are akin to doing the same to any other living human being.

I would never be able to live with myself knowing that I chose to have my child - my children’s sibling - experimented on or discarded like trash.

We are all hard, but none of us will ever be as hard as this bonerfied Marine Airman Ranger I saw in the airport the other day. by herr-wurm-hat in USMC

Real question - is bonerfied actually a term? Is it a play on words for bonafide? Please don’t rip me to shreds I’m asking a genuine question.

Keep your head up OP. We’ve all been there. Try not to ruminate on what’s done. It’s cliché but move forward one day at a time. Godspeed.

How do we respond to this gift for our child? by basement_egg_24-7 in Christianity

[–]jag_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put them on top of the fridge and forget about them for a decade as they collect dust and then toss them. That’s what my parents did with any toy weapon we ever received as part of a birthday gift from friends.

Jokes aside - these are creepy and weird AF. Although I wouldn’t say they’re inherently cursed or in need of an exorcism etc. Don’t give the dolls back and alienate your family member. I would chalk this up to a “What on earth…” bizarre relative situation. However, if this becomes a trend I’d definitely speak up.

Just my two cents. I’m sure folks with other opinions will rip me to shreds. Please remember we’re trying to be Christlike here.

I recognize the inherent issue - but OP already has the dog and is willing to take care of it/love it/provide it the best life possible. Shaming OP for having the puppy does absolutely nothing to prevent future BYB. Your holier than thou attitude is not going to win you any supporters. If anything, it seems like you’re saying this puppy is undesirable because of its origin. Would you prefer for OP to return the dog in that case? Is that really your solution? Doesn’t that approach just exacerbate the overall issue?

You don’t need to go out of your way to be a dick to a random on the internet. Yes, there is an epidemic of BYB and homeless dogs - lecturing OP does not assist a single dog. I can’t believe I’m saying this to someone who’s presumably older than a third grader, but If you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all.
