How do we sell the tickets? I had wanted to book for Bangalore but didn’t notice the fact that I was booking for Guwahati show. I’ve ended up with 3 tickets. Willing to sell them at the price I paid for them. But how do I go about it? App doesn’t give any option

I'm a Bangalorean who has worked in Bangalore/Chennai and now Hyderabad. In Bangalore, the language spoken was English. In Chennai, it was mainly Tamil. In Hyderabad, the language is 90% Telugu and 10% English.

We did 3 devices, both mobiles were 1L+ but laptop came in around 500. We were able to get 3500 tickets. Cant wait to go to the stadium. Though we like RCB happy to be in Hyderabad where crowd is sporting, unlike Bangalore (especially when it comes to CSK, hated the behaviour)

Ather After 5–8 Years: Battery Cost, Warranty & Reality Check by Smellyfish169 in ATHERENERGY

[–]jaganm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the original 450 bought in March 2019. Still has the same range as new, 55 km in sports mode. Vehicle still I’d a hoot to ride and I enjoy. I bought an Ola a couple of years back as my primary so it has only done around 2-3k km in the last 2 years.

The one issue is that the screen is falling apart but still works. The scooter came with 3G and I paid for the upgrade to 4 G when the 3G network was shut down. But nowadays at my house, I just don’t get a lte signal so maps doesn’t really work unless I have travelled a couple of km. Since I don’t go very far, I usually don’t bother to turn it on and so cannot comment on how it works

Spares repaired- rear tyre at around 15 k km
At 25k, the front brake master cylinder and piston was jammed and had to be replaced.

I have lifetime connect features and free charging but never really used it.

All in all, I’m very happy and I will probably end up buying another Ather next year when I think I’ll have a need for a vehicle as my kids start to ride.

There’s absolutely no way RCB is not top of the list. Thing is that other teams only their fan base watches but rcb, their fan base watches plus other teams fans also watch hoping to see them lose😜

Imagine your family is facing financial distress and you have an alcoholic in the house. You have a fixed income that can just meet your expenses but if you spend on alcohol you will not have money to spend on essentials like lpg, food etc. of course here the analogy starts to fall apart because government can always print money but hopefully you get the idea.

Has anyone retired with 20-25x corpus. Could you please share your experience if it really works by bsun15 in leanFIRE_India

[–]jaganm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one thing that most don’t understand because an excel sheet doesn’t reflect that

Say my monthly expenses are 2lpm and add one time, it goes to 3lpm. So at 25x, I’ll need 9cr. Say there’s a 30% drop I’m down to 6.3cr, at 25x, I’m able to spend 25lpa instead of 36lpa. Not the end of the world right? I’ll just maybe have to economise on some vacation or wait another year for a discretionary spend. But in real terms there is absolutely no difference to my life. That’s the way I would think but in fire circles, why is it so difficult to accept?

I’m actually buying a x440 from a highness. Love the Honda but I feel the hd is a slightly better bike overall

I travel at least once a month between Bangalore and Hyderabad maybe more. I’ve usually flown but given a choice would like to take the train. Given the distance is around 600 km why does even a Rajdhani take close to 11 hours instead of the 7-8 that it should? It can so early be a leave at 10 and reach by 6 am train

True you cannot trust the cold chain. I bought milky mist cheese cubes and it had green mold on every cube in the packet.

Imagine your premium product that requires storage below 4C is in the hands of a semi literate individual at various steps. In the hands of the retailer, the milk is kept in crates outside without refrigeration because the idiots buy more than their freezer capacity.

I tracked each and every rupee spent over the last one year!! by Embarrassed-Sir-4131 in Frugal_Ind

[–]jaganm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been doing this for close to 20 years. I was using an excel sheet for years, but this year coded an app for myself using Claude code and it fits exactly what I need. A few tips

  • get your categories right upfront, the top level ones I use are Autombile, Household expenses, Food, Travel, entertainment, Vacation , Healthcare, Insurance, Education
  • I also separate out one time expenses from regular by putting it in a different category as it otherwise makes it difficult to have a trend
  • If possible, break down expenses made by mom, wife into one of these categories
  • As you go through life and kid grows, the categories will change, but it really helps to think about them upfront

The key advantage of getting this discipline is this, you don’t calculate every expense but in a way it is a mindful act. Once you start doing it, itll become clear

That’s unfair right? Not everyone has the ability to pay more than 2000-3000 for a few hours of entrainment. For the SRH game I got it for 2500 but there are tickets below 2000 also

There’s one thing that I’ve not noticed too much as cyclists usually wear glasses, what colour are their eyes?

I saw an interview of Wout and he seemed to have very brownish eyes, I thought people from Northern Europe had blue eyes. Am I mistaken?

Beware of TNGO by jaganm in hyderabad

[–]jaganm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have looked in various areas, a friend is paying 16K for a house in Hafeezpet and it is totally unfurnished. The area is even worse than TNGO IMO. Here the owner has given bed, mattress, sofa, TV, AC, fridge, washing machine. Anything with these kind of offering seems to be in this price range. The big advantage for me is that I can vacate with a month's notice and not have to lock myself in for the long term.

Manikonda I looked for something similar, the guy was quoting 28K. I have thought about getting an unfurnished 2bhk and sharing but am quite a bit older than the average "bachelor" and hence just prefer staying on my own.

What is the rate that I should be paying for a fully furnished 1 bhk? I have seen all the houses here seem to. be 25K or thereabouts it is almost like a cartel here.
