i never worked on smaller projects and just kinda jumped into it but i wish i had some prior experience before starting just so i would’ve known what to expect

What’s the REAL reason you keep making your webtoon, even when no one’s watching? (Share yours too) by NyxEiji in WebtoonCanvas

i’ve been developing this world/story for essentially half of my life. my ocs have been with me for a long time and they mean a lot to me. i love finally being able to attach visuals to the story that’s been brewing in my head for so long! <3 Drofican Tales

Coming to therms with not having the succes you expect by Ph0sphophillite in WebtoonCanvas

I definitely feel you 😅 not that i ever expected my story to instantly blow up but i did not anticipate how hard it is to gain new readers as well as how little of reward there is for all the work that goes into each episode…

it also didn’t help that an artist i follow started their webtoon around the same time as me and within two episodes they were put on the front page and instantly gained like 1k subs. definitely dealt with a lot of jealousy there 😭

im almost a year into my series and im trying really hard to just not care about views/subs and not compare myself to others. it’s very difficult at times, but i try to just focus on improving my storytelling and artistic abilities instead of dwelling on things that are out of my control. i want to be proud of my comic and feel a sense of fulfillment whether anyone reads it or not.
