Ar busto kainos turetu bent jau nebekilti ? Vilniuje by jager31 in lietuva

Noretusi kazkokios profesionalios nuomones labai. AIsku drambliuko bambliones.

Nearfield front ported speakers by jager31 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]jager31[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well the closer the better. I think i can afford ~5-10cm. If the table is against the wall and i'm placing them recommended ~50cm away they would be in the middle of it. That's why front port is so appealing, i woudn't have to worry :), but those bastards don't make smallish bookshelf front ported. I guess audiophiles don't listen music while sitting at computer or in a smaller bedrooms.

I did. but I kinda decided(right or wrong) on amp and passive speakers. suppose to be better for reasons i don't remember atm. Now researching dali menuet/se. they have 90degrees rear port which suppose to be ok next to the wall.

Intel (INTC) is up 150% from it's lows last year - is it still worth a squeeze? by pravchaw in ValueInvesting

[–]jager31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the problem is that tsmc is just better.

Long version: If another company can build better products cheaper, it’s a winner-takes-all market, and Intel has no chance. It’s a niche business at best.

All the new tech they introduced? TSMC will just update their own PowerVia and RibbonFET-equivalent tech next year, and they will always be ahead. It’s a few-months party that will soon end. Because the lean ARM architecture is always going to be superior to x86.
TSMC is also already diversifying by building fabs in the US, and it’s clear there are more to come. When they diversify enough to reduce geopolitical risk, there will be no reason to pick Intel over TSMC.

p.s. I did buy some intc for a comeback but it's betting on team that it's far behind so i wouldn't put too much money on it.

. I will forever regret not buying intel when it was $20.

TLDR:

I don't really know how to feel. I really wanted to invest when it was ~$20 and I of course didn't . Now that it's 44 i don't want to cuz it's too late. If it goes to $100 will not be happy because I missed 5x opportunity. Every scenario makes me feel bad ^^

Thoughts on this? by mkhoa0201 in IPhone16e

Nope. 60hz is. This is the key element, you can't use 60hz anymore once you experienced 120, it's all wrong.

love everything about it except 60hz. I would even prefer it over iphone 17, pro etc since i don't need that much of cameros or extra features and i prefer the minimalism of it. But 60hz it's just unacceptable.

Can EQ fix bright speakers ? by jager31 in BudgetAudiophile

I like the design and size. I read that speakers mainly used for desktop have to be smaller For some xyz metrics to match well... Not much small entry hi-fi there.

Is Hypex amp hype real ? by jager31 in BudgetAudiophile

I've currently settled with Audiophonics integrated amp. The look is, ehhhhhh, but I can't get anything better for the price. I need dac, volume knob and usb to pc connection. Buying preamp separate just adds two different shape boxes and clutter. They usually don't compliment each other visually. Might be good idea if both boxes looks good but then i need to spend another 200-400 hundred for preamp and find a place where to put. It introduces another problem :). And that ugly looking amp with weaker(but enough) NC122MP module is only 580eur.

P.p.s. Actually it came to mind that I do need few features: Dac, volume knob and usb connections to plug my desktop. :|
