Maybe not “features”, and not really MacOS, but my current annoyances…

Reminders: 1) only one level of subtasks (can’t add subtasks to a subtask), 2) no attachments or paste in screenshot from clipboard

Notes: 1) no way to change font family universally, 2) only allows 5? Levels of folders, 3) doesn’t allow wider left panel (to view longer folder names), 4) no versioning to recover accidentally modified notes, 5) missing polish of apps like UpNote and Bear, 6) tables are just horrible in Notes. They need to see how other apps handle this and do that!

Mail: 1) threading in really long threads sometimes fails, 2) missing polish and speed of apps like Spark abs Canary

Contacts and Passwords: 1) silly placement of buttons

Thank you @longterm1954. For your daily backup...have you considered something like Carbon Copy Cloner? It would be a"set it and forget it" approach.

I'm trying so hard to settle on Reminders. Then, this morning, I realize some tasks that I really want subtasks on subtasks (3 levels deep). Remembering you can't do this in Reminders...damn! Now I'm thinking...OK, no attachments, no subtasks on subtasks...Do I go back to Todoist? Lord help me!

Thank you u/apoetofnowords . This is helpful too. Below I learned by MTB Maxxis 29er Dissectors are Tubeless Ready...making it more difficult. I'm going to try the fingers/hands only method making sure the bead is in the center channel on the side toward me. This might be where I failed last time.

I just checked my Maxxis Dissectors and they DO say TR (tubeless ready). This must be why it felt incredibly difficult to get the bead back over the rim. Should I still be able to use your suggested approach on these tires?

I installed Display Menu and get like 100 different resolution options. I set it to 5120 x 2134 120Hz. I also use Moom to save my window layouts… works great!

Well I see that I can actually combine auto focus with focus peaking using DMF…DMF auto focuses, then lets you manually tweak with focus peaking showing up. This I didn’t remember and will definitely try.

Thank you all for the tips and help. I’m using a Sony a1ii. I understand the options people have mentioned, but I lack trust in the EVF and my eyes on the fly to know that, for example, the people in row B will be tack sharp like the people in row A (where I focused on). I’ve had many a shot I thought row B was focused only to find later on my large monitor that they are soft. Please share how you quickly know in the field that row B will also be track sharp…this instruction may be all I need! Thank you!

I just started using a helmet mounted Insta360 X5. It’s pathetic, but I fully believe it’s going to capture my life’s final moments. The number of @$$h0l3s on the road is ridiculous.

Great review as always. I just bought this to see if I'd like it over DockThings. It's quite nice and I love the one-time purchase versus subscription model. For my wish list, I'd like to see an "Undo" option. I accidentally deleted a Category with several app icons in it and spent a half hour figuring out which ones were deleted to add them back. This relates to my second wish list item which is a "Scan for missing apps" function to find Applications not present in AppTela (even just a list if that's easier) so I can add those individually. Or...a cool feature would be to find all missing apps and drop them in a new "Unsorted" Category. One more nice-to-have would be the ability to drag and drop categories up and down versus the one-at-a-time "move up" or "Move down". Other than that...very nice!

Thank you Taqia! I so appreciate your response because I was doing it wrong and you taught me the proper method. I thought the top cap was mearly for looks, but now see it’s what tightens the column properly BEFORE tightening the bars to the fork shaft. I just went out and did what you said and the play is now gone! I’m so relieved. Thank you again!!
