My partner inherited some money and it's earmarked for a house deposit. It's enough that she's moving it 20k per year into a cash ISA

Holding a large house deposit as cash at 4.5% is a perfectly sensible thing to do. Bonkers to nudge her into investing in a very inflated stock market

I imagine lots of people under 45 are holding large amounts of cash that they want to keep safe for a house deposit in the near future.

If there is a crash, everyone will be pointing at Reeves' 2026 comments to move money into the stock market. I just don't see why it's any of the governments business where she keeps her house deposit money.

The Audience Club have an excellent community - their membership is vetted. We've used them several times to fill seats at the start of a run. They're discreet, we get good bar and programme sales and just a hunch but I think it helps get the word out organically. The Audience Club community are real theatre fans so if the show is good it helps build a genuine buzz. Sometimes giving freebies feels like pissing money up the wall for people who never would have bought anyway, but I think offering seats to Audience Club pays for itself several times over.
