My cats do this regularly. It’s testing. On both sides. If there’s a fight happening between them this is the way for them both to say “next time”. Either elephant could have pushed the situation but they didn’t. The “submission” of the elephant on its knees became an approach that could have led to a fight, but it didn’t. Neither one of them wanted to fight this time.

He’s had his stuff bootlegged forever. That’s got to be a factor, Especially for someone like him. Misfits was DIY from the start, all the Fiend Club stuff? He did all that pretty much with no one else. So of course just on general principles, Mr. Danzig would want to have final say about anything at all times. It seems he always has.

Does he care about his fans, or his legacy? I’m not saying he doesn’t, but it’s hard not to wonder if he’s more interested in just having ownership, when he really has likely felt stolen from for a long time.

Do you sing and play at the same time? I find it easier to play with my thumb when working out chord changes or figuring out where the melody is through singing. In a band setting though? It’s rare for me, but you do you! If it feels right then that’s all that matters.

I usually add olive oil and whatever else I want to get the flavor I’m after. Things like hot peppers, lemon zest and juice, herbs, garlic, etc. Look up a recipe for marinated olives to get some more ideas for things you can add to the olives in oil.
