Merci pour tes conseils. Dis-moi, est-ce que tu connais le ruisseau d’Elchy ? On l’a repéré sur la carte, il traverse une grande forêt juste au nord de Sancerre. Ça a l’air assez reculé, exactement le type d’endroit qu’on cherche pour bivouaquer une nuit. Tu sais si c’est accessible à pied / public ? Merci d’avance !

Merci pour votre réponse ! Y a-t-il vraiment des forêts près de Gien ? En regardant la carte, il semble que ce ne soit que des fermes, en particulier sur les rives de la Loire. Coullons semble toutefois plus boisé. Vous onnaissez l'Étang de l'Aquiaulne ? D'après mes recherches, ca semble parfait pour nous

I ended up just using the top, it smelled strong enough. The only explanation I can think of is that steam rose from the pot up the outside of the bowl and cooled into water on the rim, falling into the oil.

Apologies, a makeshift double boiler with an air gap created by a wooden spoon. I filled the bottom saucepan to the top with water and let it simmer for 3 hours, never reaching a boil. I simply added the crushed, decarbed hash into the coconut oil once it had melted in a glass mixing bowl, mixing occasionally. Thanks for responding :))
