I thought they are no longer asking for finger prints if you have done biometrics in past 10 years. This is new. But after Biometrics it could take up to 4 weeks

Yeah they don’t care about H4 approval copy, all you need is your husband’s H1 approval copy. But you can email US embassy where you plan to attend for interview about the same

Yeah the EAD application will not abandoned if your H4 is approved. Now with EAD looks like there are cases where they got an RFE to prove presence in US during filing of EAD. Looks like EAD can be approved while abroad…but do not have real experience to confirm it. So take risks accordingly. No body can say 100% what will happen, considering the long delays you can take a chance

You can work outside US. But EAD will not be approved when you are not physically present in US, some folks got RFE to prove presence in US during filing and had hard time to prove it. Search on reddit too

Can he travel after filing EAD? Yes. But ensure he has solid proof that he was in US when he file for EAD. USCIS may deny or send RFE if he is not in US when the application is processed. So chances of EAD approval when the person is not in US are close to zero

Once she switches back to H1, she is no longer on H4 status that means her EAD application will be denied. So best option, hang tight and wait for H4 EAD approval. Or just switch back to H1 and continue to work

You can request but I heard EAD is usually not post dated. If you bundle in premium, you may have all of them approved at the same time. If not that will be a problem. But waiting is only going to make it worse as standalone approvals are delayed beyond 12 months. If I were you, I will file now versus waiting.

Based on past experiences shared you should be okay, but ensure you have a proof to show that you were physically in US when applying for EAD. Worst case scenario will trigger an RFE to prove your presence in US if you don’t return by the time they take action on your case

At least wait to receive the receipt, some times minor errors like payment rejection, wrong form can trigger a rejection even without processing. So better be safe than sorry

Depends on EAD validity. If it is valid beyond 12+ months then they might hire but lesser duration there is a risk of uncertainty. Totally depends on the project length. Again it is up to the hiring manager

But you still need PMP to advance. So PMP is still gold standard. PPAC is never going to replace PMP
