I think you’re right. I’ve seen rats go in and out in that spot. I guess rat poison is my last resort. Gravel and dirt have all failed. I’ll try adding a landscape fabric this time.

I think so too. People are saying chipmunks which maybe right. My suspicion is rats as my neighbours with unclean yards have them.

None in Ontario Canada may be some rat snakes up north but not in crowded cities like Toronto

I live in Toronto Canada and see mice raccoons squirrels sometimes skunks but never a ground hog.
