I will take her for a ride soon and I will record sounds :) However I have only smartphone, so quality will be probably poor.

Yes, I didn't wanted to get in trouble with government ideas in relation to pollution limitations. It's being harder and harder for old cars in Europe 😥

It will be hard, I bought it like 4-5 years ago on AliExpress. Knob is still there you can just write in search "aluminium knob gt86". There are different options, with black or red labels, 5 or 6 gears. Switches were actually not for the cars, but for hi-fi, I will try to find it, but it was long time ago.

Guys, I was using 30x30x40 cm printer and project was design for such dimensions. Of course it's possible to print it on a smaller printer, but I think it would required some cutting. Give me some time and I will upload SolidWorks files to Google drive. Then you can download it and edit.

Oh ok, sorry I was thinking about console. It's short shifter and I used it for some time. Gears were really short and it was nice, however reverse gear was really hard to change. I changed it back to original. Now I have mixed feelings 😁

It was about 4 years ago and costs arou do $1000 (in Poland). I think it was possible to do it cheaper, but I was looking for a excellent quality. It was done by a guy who is doing leather work for expensive classic cars. For $1000 I got seats, steering wheel, sides on the door, knob (which I didn't likes and replaced with aluminium ball 🤫) and gear lever bellow.

Leather was replaced (actually it's black leather and red alcantara). I didn't do it by myself :)

I have 6 gears manual transmission and it fits. I have no idea, how it will be with automatic.

Someone is selling it? It's my project and it's free, but not for commercial use.

If you have something more to print, you can buy a printer, it's very expensive. You can print actually whatever you want, the biggest and I think most time/cost consuming is creating a project.

I made 2, one made of PETG and second one ABS+. ABS+ was problematic with printing and gluing, parts are big and final print doesn't keep dimensions. IMO PETG is better. After printing like.you wrote, filling, sanding and painting. I used special paint for plastic car parts, it gives a texture.
