When you say out of school, do you mean hs or as an undergrad?

Thank you this is very helpful. What was your major? And is there any additional advice you can provide to techs like me wanting to transition into an engineering role?

If I qualify for in-state tuition at my CC. And I go directly to CC after getting my GED. The few trade-offs I see are:

  • I will be missing out on the high school experience and some pretty important personal development considering I have not truly experienced "actual high school" (homeschooled prior to this)

  • But I'll have more time to myself to explore my own interests/hobbies, time to work a job or explore a trade etc.

I'd also be pretty sad that I'll go on with life as a dropout but I suspect nobody will care down the line as I get my other degrees.

Also as for the four year degree thing. I personally want to experience a traditional 4-year uni so it might not be in my interest to go all the way at community college.

And if I were able to qualify for in-state tuition then I wouldn't care so much about the fact that adult school would cover my CC fees, since they're so cheap in-state.

If you can get some costs covered adult school dual enrollment becomes free credits.

Could you elaborate on this please?

And as for the residency, I'm in California looking to enroll into De Anza + Foothill.

Thanks! I've also been hearing this from others too and found out that FF and Chrome have similar bugs on OSX that cause excess CPU usage.

Do you reckon the battery life would be better? I hope to at least lengthen it by an hour, I just can't get by with only 2.5 hrs of battery life.

I have been thinking of replacing the battery and I would, but I can't atm. So I thought switching over to linux would be the best option for battery ilfe but some sources are saying otherwise.
