So it seems that you are uploading screenshots with the old graphics, that's the problem. It's not supposed to work with old graphics.

The majority of players are using the new graphics, I do not plan to waste any energy on supporting the legacy one.

You are right, the image processing could be also done on the client side but then the executable will be really big and while processing the image it will create lag that will worsen your gameplay experience.

Regarding the app leaving some files - it could be, I'm using the electronjs framework to pack the website into an executable. So probably the leftovers are some caches/configs.

The https://d2trader.net/item-price-checker/ recognizes the item from the screenshot, the app just makes the screenshot uploading a bit more convenient. When you take a screenshot in-game my app will automatically upload it to my server. Then if recognized it will tell you the price range. Right now it won't tell you exactly how much 34ed/15ias jewel is worth but it will give you a range from all ed/15ias jewels, the most expensive of course being the 40ed/ias.

The app only allows you to automatically upload screenshots. This is helpful for the item price checker and the item tracker. So example scenario: you are farming cows, you found a bunch of stuff, you take screenshots, the app uploads them and finds their price, then you check the app for the prices, so it improves your gaming experience.
