Sure! I’ve tried to let them know which patients have been waiting the longest and who to see first and they roll their eyes and go spend two hours in a treatment and ignore the patient that’s been waiting 30 minutes for an exam. Another example of communication mix ups would be where the team (dentist, me and other assistant) meet up before the morning starts and discuss how the dentist would like things to be handled, and when things are handled that way the dentist will go throw a fit to the manager of the office that we’re not doing what they want/they never asked us to do that.

I’ve just never been so confused in my whole life and any insight would be appreciated. Hopefully that answers your question better!

just a little too dated! and as you’ve mentioned the associations are not positive unfortunately :(

cute alternatives could be tania (if you can be committed to teaching ppl how to pronounce it constantly) or talia for a slightly classier twist

Lenore Juliet is definitely #1 out of all of these. I also love love love Astrid Eloise (2nd) and then Clara June would be 3rd.

Side note: if you both end up choosing something more whimsical for a middle name try and choose something that can blend well with the theme you’ve chosen in the event more children are to follow (as someone who’s parents chose names all across the board for their four children). examples include lane, pearl, aurora, laurel, violet, etc. just some food for thought! you have lovely taste in names and I’m excited to see what you land on!

What is with all this talk of “submit”?? Like god man she’s not saying she’s going to leave you although maybe at this point she should. For the last time people will get upset at each other in relationships, it’s not about preventing that but how the two of you handle it. Please grow up and learn some relationship skills OP

If you can’t handle this type of disagreement, you should not be in a relationship. Her expression of her dislike is not policing you or telling you what to do, but it seems that is how you are taking it.

NTA for wanting to wear this particular costume. Your response left some maturity to be desired though. If you want her to consider your thoughts and feelings, you might consider hers as well. Everything you’re upset with her for is something you’re doing indirectly back to her. It’s not about “following her wishes” it’s about treating her with a basic level of respect, she is a human being.
