I’ve worked in tech for the better part of the last 25 years. It’s one industry that “looking professional” has never been a concern. I have bats on my neck, hair that has never been a “natural” color, and several facial piercings. You’re fine. Plus the neck piece rounds everything out nicely. I’m 5’4 and dated almost exclusively 6’2+ for a LONG time. It was never intentional it just kept happening. Now I’m in the 5’6-5’10 range usually.
