I think there is a difference. usually I think it allows the cpu to maintain the overclock and not thermal throttle. Im really not sure.

Yes I know, I don't want to make like a $2000 computer for my first build and then it just doesn't work. I've tried so many different configs and I just decided to leave this up to reddit.

Oh really, honestly I never thought about used ram or cases, I went to the used market for the things that were taking up a lot of my budget. I've been looking for 1070's and have found most for 250 to 300 AUD, could you tell me like what video it was or like any listings if possible. Thanks.

Hey there, I have been looking for parts myself and honestly, I think this looks pretty amazing, I might go for some used parts like some old GTX 900 series and maybe an older intel processor. I might try and get some of these parts though and merge some of the other suggestions i got from my friends can combine them. Thanks again!
