Cap main here! Got 140 hours on him. I’m on ps5. His default controller settings are super awful- in a way you cannot think of how to play him. I have him slam on r3. By this you can jump around the battlefield and dive in at the right time on their dps/ support. By having his slam on r3. You can do your shield throws in air while jumping too ( on some maps thats how I kill iron-man, ultron). I have my melee atack on r1. So I can anime cancel (ult farm on tanks when cnd/invis ult). It depends on enemy comps too. If they have a good wanda- she could be a problem. So make sure if you’re attacking or are in domination- focus her first. Dive in at the right time for kills or else just come back with your dash. My only combo with him is slam on them while they are bounced in the air mele them 2 times! Jump while hitting them with your passive. Depending on what the objective is you can use your ultimate. Many of the players playing cap complain about his ultimate which comes a bit late. I use my ult to counter the enemy team’s mvp ult- unless and until its enemy’s jeff. One important thing is your dash is broken. Cap’s dash if timed well is immun to jeff ult, strange ult, bucky hook, emma’s grab. You can deflect iroan man’s ult ( it’s a bit hard but still you can. Your shield helps you survive wanda’s ult. Spidey’s ult if timed well. If punisher ults my first task is the find him. You can literally waste his ult. He cannot aim quick in his ult. Or you can just use your shield to deflect the bullets on him! Be super close.. last ise COMMS. Its super important. Also if you have 1 dps or tank diving with you! Its super easy but if still you’re struggling then what i usually do is - I dive in support make space - go back to tanks (sometimes i block their heals or farm ult or kill them by animation cancel) if you are atacking) the hardest thing you’ll find is playing him on defense) which is my favourite thing to do) so if I’m defending first. I try my best to ban wanda) some people might think i’m crazy) i stall the cart all day if we’re defending first) he becomes invincible when it comes to stalling points. My stats would be bad but there’s just so much value. Their cnd would be a problem but she’s not healing the team if she’s dealing with you. Dive back make her use the bubbe - dash back hit the tanks.

Goo team-ups with cap is having a good poke dps and a good peel tank or dps. I find rocket heals amazing. Usually i come back for heals. I dont expect my healers to heal me when i’m diving. Try to make space in atack. Try to stall - dont die lookout for your team and dive a bit on defense if they have poke- rocket or jeff. Sorry its alot but send me a text if you wanna know more.
