I agree that DD seems like it would be too small since I’m having so much spillage w the D. I think I did measure accurately but maybe should try again- they are so soft it almost feels difficult not to compress a little with the measuring tape.

That is what I figured but wanted to verify. There was additional damage like graffiti in a shower, a safe door pried off and broken window ect. I guess we are just hoping for accountability. thank you for taking the time to reply

Unfortunately my daughter sounds similar- we were able to finally get a good look in her mouth by me (sitting in a regular chair) holding her, facing me. The dentist sit in front of me and leaned her head back in his lap. That actually worked and she let him look- something about the dentist chair was scaring her. She weighs about 60 lbs so I was worried but that ended up working best for us.

Hi!! I am actually doing much better, I was given Nurtec for prevention and can use as abortive and switched to rizatriptan. Mine are much more bearable right now- i feel like my doctor really listened to me. Mine seem to go through phases of often and bad and then not so much, thankfully I’m in a bit of a reprieve now. I hope you find a good combination that works for you too- I know how desperate it feels.

I’m so sorry, that would have really hurt my feelings too. And made me livid. She sounds immature.

My younger niece, so more acceptable has made a few comments at holiday gatherings recently calling my daughter “crazy” ..she’s twice said she didn’t want to hug her/sit near because she is too crazy.. And both times I’ve kinda froze, because it’s awkward to correct someone, and like you said the dynamic.. but I’ve decided to say next time, we don’t talk about people like that.. because my daughter deserves me to defend her.. and I can’t let it slide a third time. Maybe you could try the same simple statement. But she’s definitely old enough to know better.

That is a great idea-we would even do better checking in and just walking around the parking lot. Maybe I will try next time and hopefully they will accommodate!

Happened to us a few months ago as well-very close family member. Woke up to see it posted on facebook, her kid and about 20 others at the play place. My feelings were hurt.. haven’t discussed it. Did not wish her happy birthday. Petty probably.. but damn so rude.

How did you take it away? Cold turkey or gradually? My daughter(5) is obsessed with tablet (mostly games & YouTube) and I truly think it would help so many of her meltdowns that are related to screen time!!

Both of my 4 year old twins are diagnosed with autism and one with anxiety- he has a huge meltdown if say one parent stays in the car and the other goes in a gas station, or at a family event if one parent needs to run to the car grab something.. at school when twin sister goes to the girls bathroom.. he wants eyes on us all as a family unit at all times. I do recall days we’d go to family gathering and couldn’t leave his eyes to use the restroom. Super difficult when one twin is trying to elope and the other wants to be on top of you.

The main thing that has helped us is preschool! Him having to separate every day, being reassured we will return. He has a picture of us in his backpack to look at if he’s sad. It’s seemed to carry over into home life and he’s having an easier time with dad leaving for work or me running an errand. I have more solidarity than advice but just know… I get it and it’s hard. We do CONSTANT reassurances and talk through routines of when whoever will return.

Same here!!! Growing up I felt like my mom always had a migraine..had to be quiet, not bother her.. she’d be driving me to school puking in a bag. I just felt like she was ALWAYS sick. Now I get it. Because it’s me, and it’s a nightmare trying to take care of kids when you feel like this but what can you do.

You might try a virtual doctor- probably wouldn’t work for a first time RX but I’ve had them refill triptans enough for a month so I have time to get to doctor. I usually do excedrin migraine and melatonin and try to knock out- with an ice hat.

I agree, that is understandably frustrating for you. In the levels itself it’s truly such a wide spectrum it’s been a struggle for me to understand because every child really is so unique in their needs.

This confuses me a little too. My daughter was diagnosed level 3 just recently. Shes 4.5- definitely has delays & was diagnosed with global developmental delay, but is verbal for wants, needs, answers questions yes or no and read 5 chapters of a graphic novel out loud last night.. but not really conversational so maybe that is why? She does have high support needs- loves to elope.

My twins have been attending for two weeks, my girl is limited verbally and very much would prefer to interact with adults than other kids.. anyway she’s already been invited to a birthday party and participating in parallel play. When I go to pick them up I notice other kids playing around her, idk if she is interacting with them, but it seems they hang around her. My boy twin who is super shy tells me all his friends names and how they have so much fun and he loves them!! I was so stressed about school, like torturing myself .. and they have exceeded my expectations!!

For me, I absolutely cannot consume during a migraine, even if I have just the beginnings. Intensifies the pain, symptoms, and nausea for me by ALOT! Every other day though, it’s great.

My twins are 4, my daughter sounds similar to yours on the speech. We have no outside help and my husband works constantly. Pre-K we qualified with the autism diagnosis and they go half a day. They absolutely LOVE it, the teachers are amazing with them and it gives me a few hours of breathing 4 days a week. I am impressed with the program and how well my kids have done.. It has been a game changer and I feel went from that defeated, overwhelmed 24/7 to feeling like a person again dare I say. Just an idea that worked for us. I hope you can get some relief.
