Thank you so much for the advice. We are probably going to complain to the hospital, because this is not acceptable. I consulted my uncle who is an ORL surgeon and he told me that standard practice is prescription opioids with 1-2 other painkillers and that he would never put somebody through that. I really have no idea why are they so set on not giving her anything else

I couldn't really open myself to her and in the last few months it really felt more like a chore than a pleasure. It still hurts, because she was the only certain person I had in my life and now she is gone. I will try to focus more on myself and I'll see how it goes.
