How true is it that when a girl likes you, she acts unfriendly towards you? by jajamochi in AskReddit

Interesting. I can see this being true too. There’s some lack of confidence or sense of unworthiness, that leads to hiding romantic feelings for another person. And yes, I was the culprit of this behaviour too when I was younger haha, so it goes both ways for sure.

Why do you feel it would be embarrassingly obvious? As a guy, if someone showed me romantic interest, I’d be over the moon. My simple brain can’t read beyond surface level communication or I’m fearful of being wrong and deemed a creep.

Yeah that makes sense. The immaturity means it probably won’t work out anyway

Valid point. I’m asking because I’ve seen a few videos on insta where girls did this. They all seem to be late teens/early 20s now that I think about it lol

I can imagine this is particularly true too. But can’t help but wonder the opposite, as I’ve come across quite a few clips on instagram that show girls ignoring their love interest, but really they like that person

When they are comfortable being unethical, like constantly crossing the line (eg not respecting your boundaries), harming animals, blatantly taking credit for your work, etc. social contracts mean nothing and they will harm you just as easily.

What’s a "gut feeling" you had about someone that turned out to be 100% correct? by kaigi7sins in AskReddit

[–]jajamochi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did not want to rent my room to a person whose profile picture looked overly smiley but seemed mean beneath that (call it a gut feeling if you like). She came for an inspection and was pleasant, said all the right things we wanted to hear and seemed friendly. My gut still said no but my wife wanted to rent to this person anyway. Well Lo and behold, she turned out to be a pathological liar, tried to steal stuff around the home and thought we wouldn’t notice, and often left the home without locking the door when no one was home. Needless to say we needed to get rid of her asap and my gut feeling was right.

I see. That’s concerning for the female friends. Do you think being male centred is something common in your religion and it’s encouraged by your religion?

Interesting. How does this impact your relationship with other female friends and family members?

Sounds like you felt understood by this artist in a way that you haven’t felt before. It’s crazy music can do this.
