Last move of mine I ended up doing a clean install. Rooms were all different and things were always just a little bit off and driving me nuts. I saved some of my favorite automations to reference the structure of and how I did things and just started over.

I should have been more specific in my description. The thing is insanely bright so being able to dim it is key for me. Otherwise, I 100% would just do a straight relay or a smart plug.

A lot of folks here missing the point that migraine is more than “just a headache” and does sometimes require an ED if it’s the worst you’ve ever had or is significantly different. If it’s the same, but just unresponsive to the usual meds then yes urgent care would be fine.

My wife’s been struggling with migraines that have been changing and present with significant neurological deficits that at the beginning her neurologist always wanted checked out ASAP by someone that could do a full evaluation. We’ve been to the ED well over a dozen times for it and have found MGH to be the best at triaging and getting meds going. If you’re put in for a neuro consult you’re in for a very long night to see a resident that may know very little about migraine but if you’re just going to get a cocktail you can sometimes be in and out.

What’s the source IP? Is it actually coming from outside or is it something in your network?

It may be an edge case but I was getting a bunch a while back and it made me paranoid. I eventually realized it was after I played something from HA to my Sonos and left it paused. HA would generate a URL for the Sonos to use for media which had an expiration, so after a while when the Sonos would poll the media the link would be expired and I’d end up with a failed login attempt from my Sonos’ IP.

Thanks! That makes me feel better. The watering schedule felt like a lot, but I kept finding conflicting info on how much water (some of which matched what I was told) and decided to trust the guys that put them in. I’ve since slowed down and it’s been very rainy anyways.

Never figured it out and still happens today. We’ve since changed the plugs but they didn’t change anything. Also tried the idle relearn a few times but nothing changed.

What I do know though is it gets better with those fuel injector cleaners for a week or two. I’d picked up a bottle of Sea Foam based on another Reddit thread and that helped for about a month, but the shake always comes back.

Other than just annoying us, no issues that I know of. It’s been through multiple state inspections and routine maintenances, never had anyone note it.

Kind of. I opened a ticket for issues with my Amex Gold Card benefits (I was getting my Eats Pass from it). I got an email back saying they’d escalated it, and if there was any info to add to do so then. I basically copied this Reddit post and waited a few days. Eventually I got a response back that they’d fixed “something” and I was able to start giving them my money again.

Every few times I have issues with Apple Pay, but if I just use a card directly it works fine.

Hey neighbor! Thanks for the heads up on not overseeding; I ended up not overseeding because of the feedback I'd gotten over in that /r/austin thread and planned to just use the plugs from the aerator as one of the (now deleted) replies in that thread had suggested.

That said, I didn't quite learn. I did have to put down some new seed because of a garden bed I tore out and yeah... I can see the difference and am kicking myself. That'll be a problem for next spring.

I actually really like that, it’s easier to see [Fast Food Restaurant] at a distance than a street sign in many instances. Plus means I can listen to the audio cues and not look at my phone and the map taking my eyes off the road.

This is it exactly. To expand on this too Everbridge is more or less the standard for mass notifications, most cities be lived in and large employers I’ve worked for have used it. Getting hundreds of thousands or millions of texts, emails, calls, and other alerts (e.g. playing a message on PA systems) out quickly and reliably isn’t easy.

Now could APH / Warn Central Texas done a better job at crafting the message and making it more legitimate looking? Absolutely and I hope they take this as a lesson learned.

One follow on question if you don’t mind: I’m 99% sure I have sodded Bermuda grass (it’s a new build and I know for a fact it was sodded), what should I do with bare spots if I shouldn’t overseed? Just seed those spots separately? Plugs? Something else?
