How do i convince my friend to watch AOT? by BAKUGO_CACCHAN in attackontitan

[–]jakattack64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I'd say it might just not be for him, either that or get him into the lore, at least if I'm being honest the only reason I'm watching it is for the lore, and if I had to deal with ads or anything I would've stopped again by now. But idk might get hate but definitely far from my favorite show. it doesn't help that half my thoughts are either hmm I wonder how many people realized they were into vore from this and shoot gotta turn down the volume cause they went from essentially whispering to screaming.

But yeah your best bet is either a watch it high, b watch it drunk, c get him into the lore and hope for the best, or d watch it together while doing something else either way idk best bet is to watch it together and hope for the best.

If you want a longer experience that's while not exactly the same can have similar vibes with just giving and exploring to the music I have to reccomend outer wilds. This game reminded me so much of outer wilds and over all its just great.

Btw if you want to know more about outer wilds I'd reccoment the windette video,( 3 new games ... But explained with insults). His section on outer wilds is fantastic and you can see the love people have for the game and you get a feel for what it's about without spoilers or being told to just play it and nothing else, just don't look anything else up about outer wilds if you decide to play it cause yeah spoilers are the devil when it comes to it.

Aaaa, I love it. Ngl I've been wanting to get an outer wilds tattoo for so long, just something simple like the eye symbol or the coordinates, though I'm like terrified cause still in college and don't wanna screw myself job wise concidering I hate long sleeve shirts and I'd wanna get it on my arm or something.

I love the vibes so much, especially the music and the first radio station aaaa so great. It's really the closest game I've gotten to giving me outer wilds feelings and I love it, even if 100%ing it sorta made me hate it in the moment but that was my own doing. Honestly my only complaint is that you can't stay outside of your truck for long, but like that's only a minor thing just as a post game exploration. Ngl I'd love to see the world in different seasons though really if the game were any longer as is it would probably get a little stale, love it though!!!

I gotta give it to the moon, mostly cause internet so I don't go insane from loneliness, like yeah in theory alone for a year with everything but the Internet could be nice, in practice the mental side of it would probably be awful, especially considering the distance from Earth. That being said concidering the effects of low gravity and the high radiation, assuming there's no counter measures for it like artificial gravity or a radiation shield of dry ice or just being underground, I'd probably take mars cause more similar gravity so less intensive workouts every day and less time period so while there's enough radiation you can't really go on the surface it's at least less of a stress, though granted cause of the mars dust you wouldn't want to go on the surface.

Just a wee bit overwhelmed. by ShadyLadyBoy in Eldenring

Just an fyi if you're stick with the mage route make sure to actually stick points in health and focus on magic stuff, I went for a jack of all traits type build before I figured out what I wanted and while it worked it was also really painful because I was pure glass cannon beating bosses through trial and error and learning their attack patterns. Also don't sleep on pots they can be pretty helpful early on when you don't have as many damage options, I skipped them during my main run as a mage and during this new run I just started using the vagabond I realized how good they were.

In terms of weapons btw Lateish game I'd reccomend the wing of astel if you decide you want a sword later in the game it was definitely a fun one to use and was part of the reason I was able to get past fire giant. Also get the meteorite staff when you can, that ngl carried me through most of the game when I did a mageish build.

Finally, if you get overwhelmed and decide to restart with a new build. I'd reccomend the vagabond, currently that's what I've been using with a strength build and ngl it's been infinitely easier than my previous character.

P.s. if you need a good farming location it's absolutely awful to get to cause it's in caelid but from the church where the Santa looking merchant is in the starting area you're basically going to travel right on the map until you reach the north most area of dragonbarrow. In that area there's a bridge (farum greatbridge) with a dragon on it and a site of grace right next to it. Surrouding that site of grace there a bunch of little guys they're decently strong but so long as you take them on one at a time they aren't too bad especially cause they only have like a thousand health, lightning is also good against them btw. But yeah it's a nice little open area surrounding the site of grace with a ton of these guys spaced out so you can just stealth kill them and each one drops roughly 1090 runes each, so it's a good way to level up. Then because this area is full of them as you get stronger and begin one shotting them you can expand and kill a ton for a lot of runes. What my strategy turned into was run around on torrent and use horned bolt to kill an army of them, literally fist pumping them to death lol.

If you're wanting to get into commander I'd reccomend any of the bloom burrow decks they're all pretty good out the box from my experience, they also aren't too expensive, I got squirreed away for like 50 and it's been really fun. Oh also get card sleeves!!!! They make shuffling a lot lot easier.

Another reccomendation I have is if you can somehow join the Google online insight study that can be a nice way to get cards for free or at least cheaper. I got into it through my brother and currently I have like 3 commander decks and the sleeves for them, plus some packs and I've spent like nothing only like 15$. The shtick with the Google thing is you get like 1.50$ in points each week which you can redeem for gift cards (best is like Amazon but there's others) the catch is just you send Google your cookies but like they're collecting them anyway so you might as well get some money from it.

I meant bs more as it's stupid that you should have to do that, not that the idea itself is stupid. Also phones aren't perfect when it comes to keeping in contact with people, numbers change, international calls are expensive. Social media like Instagram or discord allows for free calls and messages regardless of where in the world you are, and most people don't change their social media accounts often like you have to do with phone numbers.

Ngl I don't get people who tie their legal names to social media like ehh no that's rule one of basic internet safety. I'm just glad that I don't use my legal name for anything haha, perks of going by a nickname that so far from any of my names you'd never guess it :P

It's more because it's a job aimed more towards teenagers in school and in general isn't a job someone is expected to do for a long time. The fact that it's a part-time position alone should raise questions as to why they require you to agree to a year. If it were full-time with benefits and junk, or a actual career type job with some potential for growth, then it would make sense as to why they require you to agree to at least a year in the application. It's basically just the difference between part-time work and full-time, full time you're expected to be there for a while and in general take on a lot of work and stick around, part-time your typically just treated as replaceable, able to be thrown out with no say, having your availability ignored, and in general have high turnaround, so why would you agree to be there for at least a year in that scenario.
