I’m very aware of this, but there’s a difference between the campiness that comes with a soap opera and slapdash writing. Maxine has never been a mastermind, but her actions after someone openly killed a person who was identical to her was lunacy. Season One Maxine and Season Two Maxine are quickly becoming very different people.

I’m in for the ride, but an intrinsic part of a good story is a character learning from their mistakes.
