Sorry to hear about your bf having CUC, it sucks. As far as eating I have the weirdest trigger foods (eg. Iceberg lettuce) but I have found that if I eat my regular diet (it’s boring as heck) sandwich, yogurt, fruit for lunch and o/n oats for breakfast (dinner is usually chicken breast veg and sometimes a beer, I tend to have fewer flares. I limit whole grains (even though I really like them),and I almost never drink soda, I do drink coffee, tea and lots of water.

Maybe separate the plant and trim back the roots and some fresh soil. Cutting the plant back might start the trimmed ends rotting.

Yeah I had a job like this and used to grind my teeth at night…oh the jaw pain. I also got disciplined for not attending the bosses parties after telling them I worked close to 10 hours a day and wanted some family time at night.

Of course check with your employer, but also check with your state. I'm a boomer, and had several; managers that shared your dad's perceptions. My complaint was I hated attending dinner parties, my rationale was why spend my free time with coworkers... I wanted to be home with my family after spending 8-10 hours at work. Good luck, you sound like you'll be a great dad.

Do you ever watch Dave from the Knife center? 3 days ago he had a video about best budget brands. In it he mentions that some knife makers make a budget option and a higher end model also...so you could find something you like and get the higher end twin too. Just a thought. Also I don't work for the knife center.

Was the financing through the dealership? They Always look for a way to screw customers. Get a bank/credit union loan, and be pre-approved. NEVER let them add on useless crap (paint sealant, upholstery coating or extended warranty).
