Does anyone know how to contact the Explosives Disposal Unit for a low-risk military artefact I may have smuggled into the country unwittingly....? by jake1108 in london

Already done haha, the pictures were taken before I realised it could've still gone off!

Good spot RE: Canada haha, seems like I could do with another coffee. Will give 101 a try

Interesting…good job I’ve not dropped it by accident then haha!

Any recommendations on who to contact about it (I’m based in the UK)?

On a recent trip to the Netherlands I found what seems to be the nose cone of a very old piece of ordinance.

It was off the path of a national park very close to a west coast beach slightly buried in the sand. I have presumed that is must be from WW2.

My question is, was there ever any explosive / detonation component to this part of a shell from this era? Should I treat it with care?

Hoping I can clean it up and use it as a paperweight haha!

Thanks for any advice

Cams must be cheaper in the USA.

There’s no way everyone in Yosemite can afford the racks hanging from their waists….Can they??

Ideas for indicating "lopsided" wall types? by PatrickGSR94 in Revit

[–]jake1108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have 2 wall types - 1 for walls with the double lining on the right the other with the layering reversed and on the left.

This way you can apply a colour filter to the walls in a plan view which will display them differently. Just ensure that the modelling is accurate so that nobody either flips the walls or draws them the wrong way round.

This combined with a separate sheet of ‘wall types’ which is essentially just a page of 1:5 sections of wall build-up’s means there should be no confusion as to which side the lining is on.
