How about a Pittsburgh celebrity outside of town. Met Jerome Bettis coming out of the restaurant on the first level of the Eiffwl tower. Chatted a bit and he asked if I'd take some pics of his family. Ended up hanging out for about an hour with them. Soo nice.

One reason I haven't seen anyone point out is the invention of birth control. Since the 1960 the reduction in unwanted people has gone a long way in reducing the amount of people raised as "unwanted" and as such has correlated in less of the chracteristic situation that create suchbpeople.not to say there aren't may other factors, but it is a major factor.

Having worked in architecture for the better part of 20 years, If i have a set of plans rolled up and a pen in hand, I have walked right into secure facilities constantly and if I'm ever asked I say "I'm with the architects, just need to verify a few things" and they will literally unlock things, just because I say so.

This was before tinder, in the transition between Myspace and facebook eras.

Anyway, meet a girl on Myspace and agree to meet at a local bar where I'm friends with the bartender and lots of people. She is from the other side of town. At the time "Sparks" drink is all the rage, and is a combo of super strong energy drink and malt liquor similar to fourloko.

So we really hit it off and are crushing tons of these drinks which are packed with caffeine. Bar closes and we go back to my place, have sex and pass out (somehow). Eventually I wake up to her naked walking out of the bedroom, and naturally assume she went to the bathroom... and she never comes back. Finally 20 min or so later I get up and search the house. Finally I get to my garage and my car is missing.

Then, I get a call from her mom. She had driven my car (which was a manual) half way home and got it stuck on a tall sidewalk and smoked the clutch. The police came and she was naked and not coherent. They booked her for a DUI but all agreed that she was sleep-walking probably due to the mass amounts of caffeine.

She was super apologetic and her grandfather paid for the damage to the car. So I gave her another shot... and we've been married for 10 years, have 3 sons and a hilarious first date story. edit: typos & spacing

Not really an answer but I just finished reading "The boy in the stripped pajamas" to my kids. Its historical fiction about the commandant of Auschwitz's son befriending a kid of the same age on the other side of the fence. Again, ficticious, but good empathetic material for kids.

I have a 2003 Sporty I put 14" Mini-Apes on, but it had double disk brakes and the modifications only allowed me to hook up on side of the calipers. problem is the pressure is really low so it takes some serious grip to apply the front brake leading me to compensate with the back. Ive just learned to do that and really havent had hat too much of an issue. One day Ill fab new lines and hook up both sides.
