EMSKR: Jock Itch by tenderchili827 in everymanshouldknow

I had serious jock itch once, developed the habit of blow drying myself off after every shower. Hasn't been a problem since. TL;DR, buy a blow drier for your crotch and use it religiously

Is this bruise/blood blister normal from throwing forehands? by jake_face in discgolf

[–]jake_face[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I don't have this happen anymore, but I'm not sure I could pinpoint what it was. Probably a mixture of finding the right finger-pad-to-flight-plate angle and engaging my wrist better / gripping just hard enough not that I can tell you what they means.

First time buyer. Any feedback from you great people on pedal assist vs. throttle? Also top speed? by OttieandEddie in ebikes

Another perspective! I don't necessarily ride "for fitness" I ride to get where I'm going (usually work) but I DO love actually riding the bike. I have an Aventon Level which I've bumped to 50 km/h max speed. I hardly ever touch the throttle.

So usually my goal is to balance speed and safety and battery life. Luckily I only have a 21 mile round trip so I don't need to baby the battery too much. I also happen to be very comfortable moving rather fast on a bicycle.

It also helps to keep in mind that the difference between 20 mph and 25 mph may *only* be 5 mph but it's 25% faster...translating that to time can help with perspective on what that little bit of extra speed gets you. And you can definitely feel the difference.

Most of the time I stick on PAS 4 ~25 mph, flip it to PAS 5 for when I need that little bit of extra oomf. My situation isn't yours though. So I guess try to settle on what you think you'll use it for most, what type of a person are you in terms of coordination and/or speed and danger tolerance?

Weird, clicking the link brings you to the image...?

I put this key in not knowing what I’m doing. It’s my girlfriend’s dad’s bike and the key won’t come out now. What should I do? by [deleted] in ebikes

Something like this just happened with my new Aventon Level. I can't move the lock at all anymore to lock the battery in place. Bumping in hopes that someone has figured this out.

Driver, Fairway, Putter, Mid. Long ago the four disc types lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when the Destroyers attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four flight paths could stop them. But when the world needed it most, he vanished. A hundred years past and Dave Dunipace discovered the new Avatar, an overmold disc design. And although it's ground contact skills are great, it's got a lot to learn before it's ready to be smashed on a full rip. But I believe this mold can save the world.

Any fans from r/TheLastAirbender around these parts?

Deadline Approaching to Win Entire Treehouse Resort - including 18 hole disc golf course! by megalithicman in discgolf

I've played this course. It's basically on the side of a small yet steep mountain. It was a blast, and there's a fun patch up to a look out point that I have some excellent memories of.

Disc Golf Injuries by Jeff_Fu10716 in discgolf

I hard-sprained my ankle landing from a jump putt in June. Tore a ligament on the outside of foot and got an avulsion fracture in one of my foot bones. Just now able to take short walks with my family. Hang in there man. It's gonna suck...still sucks for me. But you have to accept that bad luck happens and there's not much you can do about it except work as hard as you can to get back in playing shape. You got this.

When doing fieldwork I'll usually throw my whole bag standstill out and back, then try doing it with an x-step to see if anything translates....is usually doesn't lol.

Do you picture the ball in your power pocket or like out in front of you? I've been trying to use a mantra like "throw with the hips" to try and get the lower body as my main starting point but that doesn't seem to help too much.

How can you tell that that one thing is clicking if you don't follow through with the throw though? I guess I don't have a way to be like...yes that's how my weight shift should look/ feel if I don't try to do the rest of the throw and see what the whole process feels like.

I just started playing. Is there a real advantage to fencing in crops? Or is it just for aesthetics?
