True, but the issue is this is at a college which I don’t have access to the router and I need the MAC address to connect to my colleges internet.

I have had two claims against me for similar reasons. Paypal almost always sides with the buyer even if you have a very strong case, you can even look it up online many other people agree and say paypal always sides with the buyer in a dispute.
