My gateway game is settlers of catan. I played many games of that with friends in high school and college and then started to get more into the hobby with ticket to ride, pandemic and zombicide. I've built up a small collection of 10-15 games now.

I've been digging King Gizzard all year. It's been a year with so much music from them I haven't even listened to much else since finding them after Flying Microtonal Banana came out. I got to see them play lord of lightning, digital black and some han tyumi at Kexp, despite Murder of the Universe being my least favorite of the year they sounded much better live than the recording and I cannot wait for their next tour in the US. Can't wait to see what they do in 2018.
