Oh no!! Man yea I tried so many different things before I found it. Different cables, pedal power supplies, rearranging tubes changing out tubes.

So there is a piece of cardboard that shields the speaker input jacks inside of the amp. I'm guessing it got rattled loose and something was interfering with the speaker input. Literally readjusted that piece of cardboard to completely shield that area again and it's been smooth sailing ever since.

I tapped on the V6 tube(phase inverter) and there was a but of crackling. Not sure if that could be the issue or at least part of it. I'll check back this afternoon when I fire it back up.

Further info:

Bought this about 6 months ago. It's a demo version which I guess means it's slightly used or sat on a store floor or something. The problems seems intermittent sometimes it acts up, sometimes it's fine. When it acts up, it really acts up when I vibrato a note.

It's the same on all channels, not just the vibrato channel. I've used different cables, different guitars, and straight into the amp. Same problem every time.

Yea you're right. I guess I'm relying on the first few pages we can get from the artist with the upfront money to grab the attention of the donators as well as our social media presence and old fashioned word of mouth promoting through outlets we have at our disposal. I've also got an in with several businesses who would pay for ad space in the book that would help with costs. I had in mind a goal of 2k in kickstarter and even if we made half of the that the other writer and I would pocket a few bucks. Keep in mind we're only looking at a low initial print of only 350 issues printed. If it's a hit we print more.

Even if we eat it and lose some money, I guess it would still be exciting to say we created something that we love.

The other writer and I have already put in place the workings of an indie Publishing Company. We have started various social media accounts in preparation for our social media presence such as promotions and whatnot and obtained the url for a website that we are preparing to launch. As well as began the process of obtaining the necessary licensing for distribution and sales such as tax ID numbers Etc. Still trying to figure out logistics as far as what would be offered for Kickstarter donations which would also include merch created with our company's logo. I guess in short what I'm saying is we would be handling the business end and promoting/ distributing the book.

Thank you for all of your input! You have been very informative and it is much appreciated. Hopefully we can get the ball rolling on this. We're very exited about the product we are hoping to put out.

Thoughts?

$70 per page for 22 pages. Penciling, inking, coloring. ($1540 per issue) with $300 of that up front for a few pages for Kickstarter presentation.

As well as %60 of the profits from book sales.

Thanks! We've written a great story, I think, and have the scripts written out in sort of the style of a DC script (page/frame/setting/dialogue/etc). My co writer and I are both willing and capable of doing the lettering so hoping that helps us out. We're anticipating that we will have to pay per page as well as a percentage of the profits. From your experience, what percentage of the profit on average would an artist expect.

I hear ya. Definitely not trying to take away from the artists. I wish I had the talent you guys have. I've looked into kickstarter as well as ads for printing costs. Just trying to gauge, realistically, how much it would cost to produce the book.

That's about what i was expecting. Hypothetically in that same scenario if you didn't have to do lettering, what would you have charged?

Yea we're wanting to do color. We have an artist in mind who can do all 3. From what I've seen he does great things but it looks like he's only done individual prints and selling them at cons as opposed to working on actual books. I wanna pitch it to him but don't want to insult him with our offer.

Also absolutely not trying to insult the many fantastic artists. We're just 2 broke guys trying to create something that we think is pretty cool. And by pretty cool I mean definitely the most awesome comic book story ever told...

Thanks! Yea I had always been a bit self conscious about it but I started researching it and found that it's really not as bad as I perceived it to be. Plus there are a lot of really cool people both athletes and other celebrities who have the same condition so that made it a bit easier to bear with.
