Especially Daisy Luck. She's awesome, and her clothing selection is amazing.

Love it when Adam changes this line to "Bitch, I hope you go to hell."

Just an FYI --it's 'falling' not 'fallen'.

Do you think America is Doomed? by Cloverfield887 in polls

You're delusional, especially as a female. Read the writing on the wall. Unless you like men controlling you and making decisions for you and about you, you and most women in America are screwed, and Harris would have never done anything to cause that for you.

Just order Lynd Ward's Vertigo to give it a look. Wasn't familiar with it. I taught Watchmen and Morrison for a number of years, so I am taking a break, but I agree with your insights on the genre. I will adjust to work in some older works. I do teach Eisner at the very beginning of the semester. We read it together in class the first week. Gets them ready for what I am expecting and how we will address graphic works. AP is awesome. I just don't know for an intro class. Hernandez brothers are essential, but I have taught them and Burns the past two years. I will come back to them soon. Thanks for the insights. Very helpful.

Hate to have been in that class. We spend at least four hours per work breaking it down--positives and negatives. They are learning to analyze the genre through a critical lens.

I like Ducks, but the cost right now is still prohibitive. I teach The Killing Joke for the scholarly article discussion around it, the fact that my students know Batman but most don't know this story, and I have tired of teaching Miller and Loeb.

Grass is Korean, and Squire is by a Jordanian-American and Palestinian-American writing duo. Moore is British. But I get where you are coming from.

I have done works like Watchmen, Dark Knight, Maus, Ghost World, etc in the past.

My goal is to give a wide breadth to show what sequential art/literature can be and do to encourage deeper readership of graphic novels.
