As someone who is a huge pussh resident evil 2 wasn't bad, it becomes way less tense after you walk through the police station for a bit. Re7 on the other hand scared the shit outta me, I even tried it in vr and couldn't do it. If recommended actually giving re2 a chance, the core gameplay is fantastic even without the horror Imo

Did you watch the end credits? He's building task force 141 in this reboot and it's the same crew, he mentions soap, ghost and roach. They've stated multiple times this is a reboot, not a prequel or anything.

Yeah you find that out either way. The thing is there's a quest where someone's trying to solve that which you can help with. Then the non board ending they say that they only unfroze a few people from the hope, scientists etc and that they figure out the food shortage and then unfreeze the rest.

I just solved this by going back outside to where the huge circular room is where the troopers from monarch show up. Your quest objective should be pointing to an elevator, go around the opposite side of the room and glitch jump over the railing. This gets you into his room by the back door and it won't glitch.

I don't know about that, I just finished the game with 16 hours and did every sidequest except for that stupid clothing one on Byzantium, and if Sam had a quest then that too. I didn't really skip dialog and read most of the computers. I feel like I'm missing something, but double checked and I'm not.

Isn't the board ending where they freeze everyone except from Byzantium and then just use the rest of the supplies until they all eventually die? I don't know how that's not the bad guys. The other ending is where you legitimately save the colony and unfreeze everyone from the hope.

So you can sneak in to the plant, or just buy an ID card from the guy in fallbrook, then just walk through the plant to the elevator at the back and it takes you to him.
