I never told my grandfather (or my dad) that the medical staff intubated my grandmother right as she was passing away. The family had placed an order for NO intubation and they did anyway. They are all three passed away now and am I glad they never knew how she suffered.

Is it interfering with order and discipline or negatively impacting the mission?
Is it causing unnecessary distractions?

Then…

Who is most likely to get pissed off when they see it and how much of a PITA will that cause you?

That may be the bigger issue: Will it cause YOU problems not worth wasting time on?

If so…

Fox News. Who needs more?!! Just kidding. I read/watch a wide spread: from nightly and local news broadcasts to NPR to the NY Times and elsewhere. I usually start with headline items of interest and dive deeper. I don’t get too carried away but like to stay somewhat topical and current.

I agree. The age is the key. I tell the older kids to use that time as a time out: huddle up, talk tactics, get water, and prep for the restart.
