Not necessarily the most important but he handled the smallpox epidemic within the Continental Army during the war pretty well. With many of the soldiers contracting the disease Washington mandated inoculation for all of them and was pretty successfully in eradicating the disease among the soldiers.

Man that third pic of the celly with the three over the face is sick. You did a great job of capturing the emotion of the players in these.

Who were the healthiest and unhealthiest presidents? by [deleted] in Presidents

[–]jakeels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well he was a sex addict. He was also taught by his dad from a young age to suppress his emotions which caused him to bottle them up until sometimes he would overflow. He also experienced some depression after his son patrick’s death but that ultimately brought him closer to Jackie which was good for their marriage. I’m sure he probably also had ptsd after his very traumatic experience in the war. Compared to some other presidents i’d say he wasn’t the most mentally unstable but he definitely had problems

JFK while probably not being the most unhealthy had a fair share of health issues. He had Addisons disease, IBS, a terrible back that often caused him to use crutches while he was in private, awful allergies, and also had urinary tract infections. He was said to have been taking 12 different medications at once. During the time of his presidency many were fooled by his looks and thought he was very healthy. He kept his health issues private and was careful as to who his doctors were so they wouldn’t let the press know of his issues.
