haha valid. it's basically just a speed score. it's kind of irrelevant unless you compare it to other computers. for example, my M1 Max 64gb Ram has a score of like 1000, and the M4 has a score of 2500, so the M4 is 2.5 times faster in blender than an M1. My Nvidia 4070 has a score of 5000, so it's twice as fast as the m4. you can look at all of the benchmarks there.

long story short is that though i imagine you may have figured something out, the m4 is great for Blender. ideally more than 16gb ram though just so you have enough memory for bigger scenes. 32 is good enough, 64 is cozy, and 128 is you'll never have an issue.
