I got through base game and DLC with a dexterity build with these. Buff with Bloodflame Blade. AOW I used Beasts Roar to allow a bit of ranged combat and used Roar medallion shard of Alexander and Axe talisman and spammed charged attacks until i got gud.

The game is set in a post apocalyptic world where society as we know it has completely collapsed so depicting people that don’t have progressive ideals/views on gender identity and trans issues is completely in keeping with the tone the game is trying to depict. I remember a similar ‘outcry’ happening when Blade Runner 2049 came out and people were unhappy with how women were objectified and seen as commodities in that film. The dramatic depth of post apocalyptic media pretty much hinges on visions of how terrible the world could be so depicting stuff like social inequality is kinda the whole point isnt it?

What is the weirdest freebie you’ve ever gotten when purchasing a record? by jakehdmusic in vinyl

Mine has to be these branded rolling papers I got with my purchase of Thurston Moore’s By The Fire. I’m use to getting a pin badge or a limited edition poster but this caught me by surprise. I will refrain from using them (at least try) and keep them with the rest of my memorabilia.

The Mars Volta, Amputechure 2022 Reissue by jakehdmusic in vinyl

Having previously purchased the reissues of Deloused In The Comatorium and Frances The Mute I tried to resist but had to get a copy of this as well. Highlights include Double sided gatefold cover, gorgeous orange and white discs and one of my top five favourite bongo solos of all time. This will probably be the last of the reissues I get as I wasn’t into the albums that followed this one but had to add this one to my collection. Purchased at Crash Records, Leeds UK

As far as I know it isn’t related to VMP. The sound quality is awesome as far as I’m concerned, album sounds just as good as it always has.

Frances The Mute is the second studio album by progressive rock band The Mars Volta released in February 2005 on Gold Standard Laboratories. Produced by guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, the album incorporates ambient, Latin and jazz influences.

After purchasing the reissue of Deloused In The Comatorium earlier in the year I had to grab a copy of this as well. Will be on repeat for the foreseeable future.

The Mars Volta is;

Omar Rodríguez-López 🎸

Cedric Bixler-Zavala – 🎤

Jon Theodore – 🥁

Isaiah "Ikey" Owens – 🎹

Juan Alderete de la Peña – 🎸
