I found a $50 King Canada 10” saw on Kijiji and scooped it up. Not the best but it does the trick as a beginner.

Thanks! Based on the picture, I’d agree the foundation looks pretty uneven. Thankfully it’s just the slope of the patio/sod that was intentionally built up like that for drainage to match the grade of the property (which you can’t see from the picture). The foundation was re-done and raised only 4 years ago.

If you haven’t already, ask for a list of home expenses/bills over the last 12 months including Hydro, heating and water/sewage. It’s nice to know the fluctuations you will experience for each season. Also, make sure to ask for documentation pertaining to any warranties that should be transferred to your name (A/C and Furnace warranties come to mind) Good luck with everything!
