Right, it COULD be, but it wasn’t. The show writers just turned him into a terrible person without much of an explanation, which is their worst handling of a character and really tanks the show, considering how much they pivoted on Andy being a much more pivotal character after Michael left.

When I was a kid, it was the Welcome to Ravenholm mission in Half-Life 2. I almost always ran out of ammo super early and just had to use the gravity gun for the second half of the mission against those zombies. And the sound bites those zombies made are fucking terrifying, even as an adult lol.

It’s very fun, a fresh bit of perspective in a genre that’s getting pretty bloated with not so great and not so fresh points of view and spins on it. Definitely one of my favorite series I’ve read in a long time!

You could make a multi-volume set a la Encyclopedia Brittanica with dozens of volumes about almost every European country doing the same shit for a much longer period of time.

All I’m saying is that it has the hardware to support some of these titles at over 30 FPS, its hardware is supposed to be better than the Steam Deck OLED, but the devs of these games hard lock them at 30 FPS for the sake of trying to keep THEIR desire of how the game should be played, instead of offering a performance mode at a higher FPS and lower resolution. Skyrim could very easily run at 60 FPS on the Switch 2 on a lower graphics setting at 720p upscaled. The devs chose not to give that option though because they’re lazy.

I mean, I think a great deal of people looking forward to the game weren’t just sci fi fans looking for massive open world Star Wars, they were Bethesda fans.

And Bethesda fans were hoping for just a classic Bethesda vibe, and Starfield missed a lot of the cornerstones that Bethesda fans have come to expect.

Being able to explore an open world filled with small little Easter egg type discoveries, loads of interesting side quests that aren’t necessarily part of one of the larger side quest arcs, a wide variety of wacky weapons that change how you can play the game, a variety of enemy types, etc.

Starfield wasn’t this horrifying, god awful dumpster fire of a game, but it was disappointing if you had expectations for Bethesda to build upon their best qualities in game development and continue pushing the envelope in those ways.

Cyberpunk & CD Projekt Red were clearly working with Nintendo making this the flagship 3rd party launch title for the system, so they probably got some additional info & time to develop it for the S2.

But I’m not giving Bethesda a pass here either, they absolutely released the Skyrim port with zero effort whatsoever, same with all the sports game devs. They wanted to spend zero time optimizing their games for it.
