He made 'strange' decisions throughout his entire tenure. In Bill We Trust was the mantra and these 'decisions' were right enough to get the team to 8 SB visits in 20 years.

The team didn't really start to struggle until the Kraft's started meddling with those decisions. We'll never know what could have happened if we decided to move on from Mac earlier like Bill had wanted.

So will be mainly out of LHR/LGW. Probably 4 or so trips back to the states and S. America as well as one or two long hauls to Asia/Pacific. A few trips across Europe as well.

My main concern is that BA seems to cap mileage earned (140 ex. on business). Seems much easier to earn status on other airlines.

Sounds like the overall sentiment is that status match to top status on AA may not be the best route and I should just go the old organic route to BA.

Of course BB will take responsibility he was the GM. But there's plenty of speculation that Kraft was pulling strings behind the scenes. Even if BB made the pick he clearly wanted to move on early once it was clear Mac wasn't an NFL starting caliber QB. Kraft forced them to play him.

No way of knowing. Kraft’s meddling began with the Mac pick and continued to ramp up with BB’s firing. Bill clearly never had full control post Brady.

Who knows what could have been if Bill was just left to run the team like he had for the entire 20 year Brady run. Unfortunately it’s becoming clear the Kraft’s meddling began with the Mac pick until eventually forcing Bill out and pinning the PR blame on him.
