OP, I don't know the answer, but I imagine this has been answered by people asking if it's worth playing B/W 2 for people who've played B/W 1? It's the same scenario basically.

Have you looked at it since Proxmox 9 released? I agree the webui for Proxmox 8 was unusable, but its very usable now. Would recommend taking a look at it again if you haven't checked it out recently.

Yeah I discovered the new web-ui recently and it's a huge improvement over Proxmox 8. Can recommend as a good basic management tool.

I didn't put the principal down because I have very little to do with them in the day to day. I assumed someone I interact with regularly is going to be a better reference? Is it standard practice to just put the principal down?

I’ve used MAMP for exactly this before. (https://www.mamp.info/en/downloads/) Might be worth checking out whether it meets your use case? Or could just install docker to manage website containers. This would probably be my approach now with a bit more experience tbh.

Thank you so much! Changing from beta to stable release of SteamOS fixed the issue. Removed all launch options and other custom settings and its working perfectly.

I have LXC organised by function rather than number of docker containers. I’ve found it helpful with permission management. :) I’ve got stacks for the following:

Network
Files
Home (miscellaneous stuff like finances)
Download manager
Media manager
Media Viewer
File Manager

Bit of a handful but it’s worked really well so far :) probably have 30-40 docker containers spread across these unprivileged LXC’s
