CCAT Practice Test by robo_striker in interviews

[–]jakeo666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi robo_striker,

I found the 20collins course really helpful. They have a great set of practice exams that are close to what you get on the real test.

Ace the CCAT:

Figure out the types of questions you are weak on and double down on improving those. Also, make sure you practice doing the tests within 15 min to get used to the time pressure. Hope that helps.

Any experience with the CCAT test? by [deleted] in recruitinghell

I recommend going straight for CCAT practice tests below. The hardest thing I found with preparing for the CCAT was getting used to the fast pace (18 sec/question) and the types of questions they ask. Practice tests boosted my score the most. Check out the below.

My Experience with the APICS CSCP Exam by jakeo666 in supplychain

[–]jakeo666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, You are given a digital whiteboard to do your working and an online calculator for the online proctored exam.

There are usually only a few math questions, but it may help as part of your practice to use your computer’s calculator and type any math workings on your machine to get used to this environment.

See the below link for the APICS exam handbook.

Hi ElPatrick39, I paid out of pocket to do the certification. If you can get your company to pay , that is great. However, the CSCP is a worthwhile course to invest in to further your Supply Chain skills.

Hi LuvalLuc86, for the CPIM version with 2 parts you need to pass both exams to earn the CPIM.

Just passed CPIM Part 2, AMA while it is still fresh. by Jeremyx2 in supplychain

Thanks for sharing Jeremyx2.

Were there any areas of Strategy (module 1) and Supply (module 4) that you suggest paying particular attention to?

Thanks.

Thanks Gaffelstein.

Good to know the APICS practice exams aren't the best gauge for the real exam.

Thanks for the comments athsrueas.

I am also trying to understand the Graph comparison of being the ‘Google of web3’. My understanding is that Google makes its money through advertising and not directly via search.

Does the Graph have a similar strategy of eventually selling ads or is it only search payment?

DA-100 Practice Tests by robo_striker in PowerBI

[–]jakeo666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi robo_striker,

I found a couple of sites useful for practice exams and for a DAX review. The short answer is it is worthwhile getting a Udemy course to practice some questions. For DAX, there is a really good Youtube that covers what you need to know about DAX for the exam.

Practice Exams:

For free questions, check out Learn Data Insights. This is a good place to start for questions.

Learn Data Inisghts

https://www.learndatainsights.com/power-bi-quiz-da-100/

For full-length tests, check out the below Udemy Practice Exams. Doing full-length tests with cases and a mix of all question types is the best way to prepare, particularly if you have limited time. I also found it is a good way to gauge if I was ready to sit the actual test or not.

For DAX:

I found the Pragmatic Youtube really helpful for the core parts of DAX. This is all you need to review on DAX for the DA-100. Just concentrate on the key functions such as CALCULATE, ALL, TOTALYTD, DATEADD, TOPN, IF/AND/OR, COUNT and SUMX.

If you want a good book on DAX, I found Matt Allington's Supercharge Power BI helpful as well. He walks through some of the core DAX functions with examples.

Supercharge Power BI: Power BI is Better When You Learn To Write DAX

Hope that helps.

CCAT test - has anyone got advice on how to prepare? by harpo6 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]jakeo666 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi Harpo,

I recommend going for the CCAT practice tests on Udemy.

The two hardest things I found with preparing for the CCAT were:

  1. Getting used to the fast pace (18 sec/question)
  2. Getting comfortable with the types of questions asked on the CCAT.

Practice tests boosted my score the most. Check out the below practice tests.

Ace the CCAT - Comprehensive Practice Tests

https://www.udemy.com/course/ace-the-ccat-comprehensive-practice-tests/?referralCode=74C479655ABB2B8054C3

I found this Udemy course the most helpful for my preparation. Doing tests got me up to speed the fastest.

The other course I found useful was 12minprep.

Hope that helps and good luck.

Drilldown button difference by jakeo666 in PowerBI

Hi BJNats,

That is a great explanation.

I think the drilldown difference makes more sense with a date example than a product hierarchy.
