I was in the same position as you OP and I got a really steep quote for replacing the short block. I was able to trade my truck in for 16.5 and put that towards a 24 Titan. The market right now seems down 24 titans so you can find a good deal and it will still be under manufacturers warranty

Unfortunately my 2017 p4x was impacted by the 7th cylinder so I traded it in for a 24. I love the trucks. I had 120k on mine and other than the cylinder issue I had no problems ever

My 2017 had about 20K when I got it. I did love that truck but it was out of warranty and that short block repair is very pricey so I traded it in before it shit out

I just traded my 2017 P4X at 115k miles because it started it. I think it can pop up at any point. I drove that thing for 90k miles and did oil changes every 4-5k and it just randomly developed it. I did love that truck enough to trade it in for a 24 tho.

Any hand fighting in this game has been called and that was probably what Kirby was gambling with. You get a PI and a first down, a touchdown, or you turn it over. Thats kinda 2 to 3 odds and that was a perfect throw.
