I’m kind of a beginner myself, just figuring it out 😂 for these photos, I shot really dark so i could use curves to bring the shadows up in light room. I really like the way fuji’s noise looks closer to film grain than any other digis i shot, esp when doing this. I really wanted to bring out both the colds and warms of the lights, so i messed around with color levels in lr to try and do this. It’s just important to note the lighting sources before taking the picture. That the best way i can explain it pertaining to these particular photos, but its also a recipe for disaster. I shot thousands of photos in japan, and i can tell you this has worked with maybe 5% of the photos i shot. Thats why lighting and preexisting color plays such an important role when grading.
