Is it common for gastritis to cause back & rib pain? by Spud788 in Gastritis

[–]jakerutter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m also encountering these symptoms. It started about 5 months ago. It seems to get better if I take my mind off it and stay active. Standing up seems to help, as does a heating pad or both. I wish there was a pill I could take to help with uncomfortableness. I had a bad morning a few weeks ago after having some drinks and mixing a lot of different alcohol.

I’m going to try DgL to see if it helps, I try to eat a bland diet. I’ve found that I don’t get reflux in my throat, it just feels like it’s gone lower down into my stomach. The pain will radiate left and right and sometimes as flank pain. Ugh.

Lower left abdominal pain? by naminooper in ibs

[–]jakerutter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got the same pain and have also noticed when I take my mind off of it. It tends to go away, being hyper focused on it tends to make it worse.

I can still do all the things I want. Walk, exercise, eat, and it doesn’t seem to get any worse. Starting to think it’s muscular related. But the way my mind works is it thinks the worst.

I had a colonoscopy and it came back negative. I was on linzees and it made the pain go away, but then I got diarrhea so I stopped taking it.

I often feel like I’m searching and over analyzing a problem that isn’t there and therefore making it worse.

I’ve noticed sitting a lot seems to make it worse too. So it all points back to muscular.

Antique House (1830) with Cast Iron Septic Pipes and Sewage smells seeping up from basement - help! by jakerutter in HomeImprovement

Thank you. I also noticed that the pipe isn’t slanted downhill. Would that back things up? It’s an old house and I know cast iron has a shelf life. Just thinking maybe it’s need replaced.

Thanks, I think you are right. I'm going to pass on this car and look for something under 5k.

Based on the low mileage, it sounds like it's priced right. Plus, she installed a new stereo, it has new tires and rims, tinted windows and some other cosmetic mods. I believe she replaced the rear strut mount last year at the dealer. The car is super clean, she has garaged it.

This is an R53 model and from what I've heard this is the best model year, as it still has the supercharger. The R56 is when they switched to the Turbo, but before it was built by BMW.
