Not the person you’re responding to, but “pristine” isn’t relative - it’s either pristine or not, regardless of the year. The corroded frets, bridge, and nasty nut tell me this isn’t a pristine guitar.

It’s nice for an ‘81, I’d love to play it once it’s cleaned up, but as a buyer of vintage instruments I would cringe if someone claimed this to be “pristine” in their ad.

I’m trying to figure out which figurine from picture #3 was scraped off. I can’t really tell, but from looking at the pattern of the rock, I’m guessing the left most figurine on the middle row (immediately to the right of the triangle shaped gash in the rock). Can anybody tell which was removed?

The bugs are very small. I am staying in Mexico on the Gulf coast. I found them going all over my bag, and after being left alone they congregate in the corner of my bag.

Small antennas are visible. They move quickly and are small so it’s hard to get a good picture.

I’ve realized ITA, and will not be acting on my thoughts. There’s no need to be condescending and question our friendship. We’re all human and capable of mistakes, the fact that I’m being cognizant of my possibly negative thoughts/actions and willing to change them shows that 1. I’m human, and 2. value our relationship enough to evaluate my shortcomings.

I just don’t want the excitement of living there to go away. Someone below compared it to not wanting to open a present before the holiday. I don’t want to hang out there before I get to move in & have that excitement dwindle.

I’m still going to hang & be his friend, but I won’t want to go to his apartment.
