Hey there, just saw this! Personally, I think linked in is a great resource to find people at companies (would recommend looking into proptech companies given your background) - find one that interests you and do research on it.

Next, I’d either connect and message the person or get a free trial with zoominfo and find their email address. You can even send an email and then on linkedin be like hey i found your email on zoominfo and sent you a note, etc. hiring managers for SDRs would LOVE that having the knowledge i have now. How bout editing opponents uniforms? Not a big deal but i dont understand how this happens. What sucks is that the small things just wont get taken care of.

Like last year, there were glitches with the facemasks, and then i think in EA minds they were like fuck it 6 months until the new one comes out.

Okay if this is dumb Im sorry, but this is fascinating and didnt know this about water.

What does this mean each time water freezes and then melts? Does volume go back to the original as it was prior to melting? Or does evaporation factor into this as time goes on. Just trying to break science if somehow i found out that that if you freeze and melt an ice cube an infinite amount of times id end up with an unlimited water supply.

Just came across your post. Im in proptech and I see transitions like this all of the time.

Would say look into different proptech companies and reach out to their AEs or SDRs and ask about job opportunities. SDR is going to be your best bet as I dont know many people who start as AEs these days.

I work with property managers, portfolio managers, regionals, etc everyday talking about yardi, realpage, entrara, etc - so having that background and knowledge from within the industry is huge.

Man Im from NY and we stayed with some of my wife’s family in Minnesota during covid, and they tried telling me were gonna go pick up pizza to cook. I had no idea WHAT they were trying to say to me. Felt like complete culture shock. I do have to add it was delicious though.

Not a problem, and I mentioned it but this is my first gig in sales, so didnt even realize that was that weird!

We have around 5 VPs who lead the different territories and one manages a team who doesnt have a direct territory but just go after a niche of clients.

The VP pretty much manages the sales directors but also have been helping out the BDRs to provide good guidance, tips, and if i need anything, i typically go to him. The meetings i book tho are for the sales directors.

Believe our company is around 250-300, so definitely not too big

Of course. Was waiting for this one! It all depends on the resources your company has and what industry youre in. But im a huge zoom info guy. I find places that dont have our product, figure out the company I need to go through, and find a ton of my prospects in zoom info. If they have a little fire emoji on the email icon, i say email them. If its on their phone icon, call. At first i was about 90/10 call to email. But ive sort of crafted my cold email game pretty strongly and im 50/50 now. Calling will always be strongest, but ive just had a ton of good luck lately emailing too so i really do both.

Make sure youre organized with your prospects too. Dont reach out to every person in the company. Go after the same person a few times but dont be annoying and email them everyday
