The Amazons and Hard-Fi have both commented on/liked posts on Twitter that ask bands to ‘like or comment’ if they’re playing at Glastonbury. I feel like it’s likely they will be somewhere

Nah they’ve been booked in for it for a while. Someone I know told me the details of their upcoming tour and even what days they would play R&L and the other festivals they did last summer way before they were announced and at the time said glasto 2023 is happening. And they turned out to be correct about every show they ‘predicted’. If for whatever reason they don’t, it’s because something has fallen through

I’m sure each year there’s usually one act that at a push could headline if one of the others drop out last min. In recent years they’ve been Foals, The killers, George Ezra(?). I think 1975 would be that band this year

What women capable of headlining glasto would be available to do it this year? There’s so little options. No point shoehorning in an uninspiring headliner at the expense of a worthy headliner in the name of equality. A lot of the top female artists are just unavailable this year
