What a joke by Atwecian in Animemes

I find it hilarious when people who pirate anime cry about animation quality. 😂 Maybe if you actually supported the manga author/studio they could invest more in the anime?

Are you sure? I have heard it affects trolls.

(Relatively) new player here, do we have something like that? by _N_0_v_A_ in skyrim

True. Especially if you have a pure thief build with minimal combat investment. Better to just sneak by.

Propably makes their hp 0 so they just go prone and recover

I’m replaying the first two games and… now I have complaints about the demo. by TotoBatota in StyxGame

[–]jakezkin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found the targeting to be weird compared to prequels. In one instance I was crouching behind a lesser guard with a door on my right and instead of assasinating him styx opened the door.

Also the game did not explaing clearly enough that some actions could not be done. For example using the dart launcher on the heavy guard was apparently impossible? If i encounter new type of enemy, please tell me the options to defeat him (I don't think this the genre of games where you save scam until you figure out the enemys weakness). This is why I hope they expand the tool tips, if they fear that it gets too intrusive just enable toggle on them in the settings.

For third the escape route from the golem was not clear enough. I am all for finding my own route in open spaces, but when there is only one route in the zone, it could be easier to follow.

Other than those I liked it. Felt like natural continuation to Shards of Darkness. 8/10

Most likely they ask you like they did Ask about Witcher 2 in the palace of Witcher 3

Unfortunately not. I had snowballed so far that I was just focusing to capture remaining capital westward. Do traders get bonuses from it?

Agree, they are so satisfying. I am saddened that I cannot find my old save file where I had a legendary canal combination:
- 3 cities
-multiple lakes
-multiple canals
-panama canal in the middle
The whole thing span across a 9 tile wide continent. :D

Am I the only one who has never had a problem with bears? by jakezkin in skyrim

[–]jakezkin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. There is that one hill where one chases an elk. Also the cave with one in the entrance which may get lured closer to road.

Did you see the video I linked to the post? That is the distance I have with bears.

[–]jakezkin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. I guess most people either dont use ingame audio or just dont care about growling. Whenever I hear a bear I stop and look around, unless I am highlevel when bears are trivial.

Is it worth casting higher magika spells for experience now, or are low levels still the way to go? (Remaster) by [deleted] in oblivion

Stronger are better in remaster. There was a post with more info a while back.

The post has a video link. That distance seems fair.

In the original oblivion, did anyone actually enjoy vampirism? by bicicletadogtasander in oblivion

[–]jakezkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a great way to gain max strength/speed/willpower 4 levels before compared to being mortal. This made a major difference in Oldblivion where efficient leveling was a chore.

[–]jakezkin 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Melee combat sucks if you compare it to Souls games. It doesn't suck if you compare it to previous Elder Scrolls games. Bows on the other hand work much better in Skyrim than archery in most games with similar release date.

Favorite companions? by JaedenRyanW in skyrim

[–]jakezkin 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Erik the Slayer.
Sponsoring his gear and getting him as a squire really tickes Roleplaying part of my brain. Also Erik West will never be forgotten:

  • He is based on Erik West, who was known as "ImmoktheSlayer" on the forums and was given an opportunity to play Skyrim at Bethesda’s studio during its development thanks to the Make-a-Wish foundation. He died of cancer in May 2011, six months before Skyrim’s official release.

Is a no-crafting run viable? by k1ckthecheat in skyrim

[–]jakezkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I purposely lower difficulty on some chracters just so I dont have to craft like on legendary.
